PSP Go!Messenger is now Downloadable

Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) has graced Europe with its Skype alternative, Go!Messenger. Go!Messenger is alternative service to the recently released Skype client for the PSP. The service also offers free videos, VOIP, video calling (using Go!Cam ) and instant messaging features. The Go!Messenger service is exclusive to Europe so check it out if you happen to live in the region.

Go!Messenger, developed by Sony in collaboration with BT, lets you send voice, video and instant messages to other Go!Messenger users from any wireless Internet connection, and will work over wireless Internet - including that provided by the 2,500-plus BT Openzone hotspots around UK city centres.

With Go!Messenger, the PSP is pushing new boundaries, adding unique communication features to all the existing multimedia experiences,” said Stephane Hareau, European marketing manager for PSP.
